Describe your favorite project.
My favorite project has been working in Marketing working on the social media plan. It was fun getting to mix what I already know while learning new techniques that B2B used. The best part is getting to see my work pop up on their different social media sites.
What did you gain from your experience?
I gained a lot of knowledge. Not just smarts about the IoT/M2M space, but how a B2B company works. I also gained a lot of insight into what I like about certain roles in companies, varying from work load to culture. In addition, I gained new valuable relationships that I hope to continue after my internship.
What is your favorite internship memory?
Having lunch with the CEO, Marc Jones. He honestly had so much advice for us, and it really helped me better understand why the culture of the company is the way it is. In addition, being able to learn about his career journey and just understand what it takes to make it to the top.
My other favorite memory is getting to work on the Video for the Careers Page. It was awesome getting to interact with different members of the company.
Honestly my favorite memories are all the random conversations I have with random people in the company. Whether it’s a formal meeting or a chat in the kitchen. It was great getting to learn from such a diverse group of people.
How are you connected with the people at Aeris (what do you have in common with one or any of your colleagues/fellow interns?)
Rafiat, Britany, Ibe and I are all in MLT.
