Score a Hole-in-One with Aeris Communications During CTIA MobileCON

Aeris to exhibit and speak about new M2M deployment solutions

Santa Clara, Calif. – October 15, 2013 – Aeris Communications, the Made for Machines™ technology and service provider, today announced that it will be teeing off at CTIA MobileCON 2013, October 16-18 in San Jose, California, with a fun round of mini-golf at its booth. Aeris invites attendees to grab their putters for a few rounds on an M2M Solutions Course that starts at Aeris and winds through the booths of its partners, UBlox, Embedded Works, 7Layers and Taoglas USA, Inc.

Beginning at the Aeris Clubhouse, booth 447, participants will receive a solution score card and then play through the booths of the respective partners to learn how each one is contributing to a comprehensive M2M solution. After each hole, players get a stamp on their score sheet to chart their progression toward M2M success. When complete, attendees will return the sheet to the Aeris Clubhouse where 10 players of each day have the opportunity to receive a $25 gift card.

In addition to having fun on the links, participants will learn more about AerPort, Aeris’ award-winning M2M connectivity platform, and AerCloud, Aeris’ recently launched next-generation M2M Application Enablement Platform (AEP) that provides data management and analytics functionality for M2M applications. AerCloud offers a critical abstraction layer between connected devices and applications, so that neither communicates directly with each other, but rather through AerCloud. Its data-centric architecture makes it simple for developers to collect and store data, mine data for critical business insights, and securely publish the data to applications and 3rd parties.

Heavy Reading, the telecom research arm of the Light Reading Communications Network, recently highlighted AerCloud in a white paper that offered new market insights about how AEPs are evolving and gaining strategic importance by providing support for developers to create and operate M2M applications. Author Ari Banerjee, senior analyst at Heavy Reading said, “AerCloud, offers the optimal AEP infrastructure to leverage and multiply the value of data to M2M solution providers, application developers and connected product manufacturers.”

As in any real-life situation, there is no chance for a mulligan when implementing a large-scale, full-stack M2M data solution. And rather than having customers getting lost in the many bunkers of the M2M Zone at MobileCON, attendees should aim to hit a hole-in-one with Aeris Communications and its partners.
